I have been fishing KY Lake for over 14 years and it is a phenominal fishery. However such a large lake can be tough to figure out. We recomend if your coming for a 4 or 5 day trip that you hire a guide for your first day. This will tell you immediately what the fish are doing and where they can be found so that the rest of your trip can be spent catching fish and not long faced wondering if your going to get skunked. I work with several guides and marinas. In the event I am booked on your dates I can still put together a trip that will be very worth while for you. After living on the lake the last 14 years and fishing some 200+ days a year I have come to know who and where. This is valuable information that can make your trip a success.
